Guide

A Marine Veteran, Firefighter, and Passionate Outdoorsman.

With over 20 years of fire service experience and a background as a 7051 Crash Fire Rescue Marine, I bring a unique combination of discipline, safety expertise, and a love for the outdoors to every adventure. As a former advanced EMT in Alaska and a current national basic EMT, I prioritize your well-being and safety throughout our journey.

Hunting and hiking have been lifelong passions that I’ve shared not only with clients but also with my own children, teaching them the skills and respect for nature that define these experiences. Whether you’re hunting with a rifle, bow, or muzzleloader—or tackling a challenging hiking route—I’m here to guide, teach, and make your time in the Pacific Northwest truly memorable.

Let’s explore the wild beauty of the Olympic Mountains together, combining my expertise with your sense of adventure for an experience you won’t forget!

Owner/Guide

A Navy veteran, retired fire lieutenant, and passionate outdoorsman.

I grew up in Oregon where I spent time hunting Roosevelt elk, blacktail deer, and black bear with my family as a child. At 19 I joined the Navy and traveled around the United States for the next 13 years. During that 13 years I gave up hunting mainly because I didn't know where to hunt or know the behavior of the local game species. My family and I moved to Washington State in October 2001, and I started hunting in 2003. I have spent a lot of time in the woods and doing research on the big game species in my local area. I have worked hard to develop my hunting skills which has led to a lot of success for me over the years. As I increased my hunting knowledge, developed my hunting skills, and learned about local species, I started taking family, friends and coworkers with me into the field. They were very appreciative of this as I taught them about the local game species, hunting regulations, hunting ethics, locating areas to hunt and much more. Helping my family, friends and coworkers inspired me to start PNW Coast Guide Service to recruit new hunters and to help educate new hunters teaching them about hunting big game, while developing their hunting skills and building confidence in harvesting big game.
